Diagnosis first, then code

   Up to four hours, free. Calls, questions and a look at what you already have, until we understand the problem.

2. 02

   Analysis & design

   When the problem needs more than a quote: investigation, breakdown, architecture and a written plan. Paid, fixed price, and the plan is yours to keep.

3. 03

   Build

   Short cycles, working software you can try, and nothing hidden until the end.

4. 04

   Support

   Once it runs, someone still answers. Fixes, changes and whatever comes next.

We do not sell the illusion of having every answer. We sell the ability to investigate and solve.

When something falls outside what we do, we say so. And we bring in the specialist who does.

Your code is yours

Hiring someone you have never met should not put your own system out of your reach. So it never does.

HOW WE CHARGE

No surprises

Figures are in US dollars and are a starting point, not a quote. They exclude taxes, withholdings and payment fees. A written quote holds for 30 days, and the signed agreement is what governs. Read the terms

What people ask first

I do not know exactly what I need yet.

That is the normal case, and it is what the diagnosis is for. You bring the problem; naming the solution is our job, not yours.

How many of you are there?

JAW9 is one senior engineer, with specialists brought in when a project needs them, and we say so when that happens. A senior owns your project from the first call to the last deploy, and you are never handed off to someone you have not met.

How does the time difference work?

We work on US Central Time, so our day overlaps with yours. Calls happen during your working hours, not at the edges of them.

What if the work turns out bigger than the quote?

The price of a phase is closed before it starts, and we do not bill above it without your written approval. If something turns up mid-phase that changes the work, we stop, tell you what it costs, and you decide before we carry on.

Can you work with our team and our codebase?

Yes, that is the by-the-hour option. We join your repositories and your tools, and we work the way your team already works.

Do you sign an NDA?

Yes, before the diagnosis if you prefer. With or without one signed, we treat what we see of your systems as confidential from the first call, and the terms spell out what that means.
